The short version
The Wealth Climb Calculator works out its picture in your browser. The dollar figures you type in last year's revenue, Owner Profit, taxes and household spending are never sent to us and never stored. If you choose the optional email, we receive your email address, your consent, and a few broad categories about your result. We do not sell your data.
What stays on your device
Every figure you enter and every figure the climb shows. They are held in the page while it is open and gone when you close or reload it. The page itself sets no cookie and uses no browser storage; see “Analytics and advertising” below for what happens if you accept optional cookies. Printing or saving the page makes a copy on your device only.
What we collect, and only if you opt in
The email block after the result is optional; the result and the picture are complete without it. If you tick the consent box and press the button, the page sends to our contact system:
- your email address;
- your consent, and the exact consent wording you saw;
- the stage where most of your dollars dropped off (Basecamp, Ascent or Summit);
- a next-step category we showed you, and the route branch it belongs to;
- a range for your Owner Profit (for example "$100,000 to $250,000"), never the figure;
- whether you stalled at a stage, and whether any of your answers were approximate.
No revenue, cost, tax or spending figure is in what is sent.
How we use it
To email you your climb map, and to send occasional follow-up emails from Tax Sherpa about the next steps for your stage. You can unsubscribe from any email, or write to office@taxsherpa.com and we will stop and delete your record on request. The categories above are used to match the email to your stage.
Who handles it
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) receives the opt-in and holds the contact record and sends the email.
- Railway hosts this page's files. It receives ordinary web-server request data (such as your IP address) when you load the page, which is how any website is delivered.
We do not sell your data to anyone for any purpose.
Analytics and advertising
The page loads Google Tag Manager. Nothing it manages runs until your cookie consent choice is known: analytics and advertising tags fire only if you accept the matching category in the cookie banner, and the banner is set before the container loads. Before you choose, and if you decline, the page sets no analytics or advertising cookie. Once you accept, those tags record only broad categories (such as which stage you reached and which link you clicked), never your figures or email, and may set cookies or share that activity with the tool's provider (for example Google, Meta, Microsoft Clarity). You can change your choice from the banner's settings link at any time.
Children
This is a business tool for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add a vendor or change what we collect. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
